Derek Gainey

Hello all,
My name is Derek Gainey. This will be my 7th year in education. I come from a family full of educators and coaches. My wife, Shelby Gainey, is a 5th grade teacher here at Wink. Together we have two wonderful children. Everly, our daughter, is 5 years old and Case, our son, is 3 years old. 
 
I graduated High School from Colorado City, Texas. I attended Texas Tech University for three years and then finished my studies at McMurry University. While at McMurry, I was a member of the Track and Field team. 
 
My family and I are excited to be a part of Wink-Loving ISD.
