Memoir The friends and memories that were made in Wink from the end of kindergarten to graduation in 1989 will always be some of my fondest memories. Richard Burkhalter break dancing in his red Michael Jackson pants with the zippers at one of the many elementary dances held in the cafeteria. Bryan Nichols having no choice but to wear Chuck Taylor basketball shoes for our first game together on varsity because coach Carillo thought it was funny and told him we were out of the new Nike shoes and many other memories. The Wink experience was one that you had to have lived or you will never understand.
