Wildcat and LadyCat Volleyball (Nov 4th)
Wildcats and Parents,
Thursday, November 4th is a busy day for Wildcat Athletics. To provide the best competitive opportunity for state Cross Country participants, including our very own Autumn Smith (and 5 Plains football players), we have had to be creative in scheduling and do our best to not split Wildcat fans. State Cross Country is first thing in the morning Saturday, November 6th, which makes Friday a travel date for participants. Therefore, we have had to schedule our Volleyball Area Playoff game vs Post on Thursday (so Autumn can travel on Friday), and move our home football game vs Plains to Thursday as well (so Plains CC runners do not have to play on Friday and travel all night). It's not ideal, we realize that, but it is the right thing to do by all student athletes involved.
Without a doubt, times on Thursday will overlap and it will be difficult for fans to make both events in their entirety. Hopefully, all of our fans that would like to attend both events can get to both, but we highly encourage you to attend the Volleyball playoff game!!
