CONGRATULATIONS TO GEORGE ANAYA!

On Saturday, November 7th, Wildcat, George Anaya, competed in the Class 1A State Cross Country Meet at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Due to all of the rain in the area in recent weeks and days leading up to the State Meet, the course quickly became a mud trail for the runners. With the rain continuing on race day, George competed in the 10th of 12 races for the Championship. Keeping your footing in the mud was of great concern for all of the competitors. A slippery start and sliding around the last turn with 3 other runners, George finished in 16th place, 1 minute and 18 seconds behind the State Champion.
This has been a great season, way to go George!!!
