5th Grade ELAR/Social Studies

Hey there! My name is Mrs. Gainey! I am 28 years old and happily married to Coach Gainey. We have two children; Everly, who will be in Kindergarten this year, and Case, who is three. We also have two dogs, Hercules and Meg. I am an avid sports fan and reader. When I'm not at games or sporting events, I can be found reading a good book on my Kindle! I ran track and cheered at McMurry University, where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2016. 

 

I am entering my 8th year as an educator, however, I've spent my entire life surrounded by a family of educators. I've previously taught 1st and 2nd grade general education and I'm trained in dyslexia intervention. My passion is to help all learners grow and develop a love for literature that will guide them throughout their lifetime. 

 

My family and I are so excited to be working and living in Wink. I can't wait to meet you all and cheer on the Wildcats!
