Welcome!

Hi, my name is Shaniece Bort. This is going to be my twelfth year in education, my eighth year as a Wink Wildcat. I currently teach self-contained special education and coach volleyball, basketball, and tennis. 

 

I come from the Texas Hill Country, a little town known as Leakey where I attended school from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I graduated college in 2013 from Texas State University with a degree in Curriculum & Instruction and a minor in Exercise Sports Science. 

 

My husband, Dee, and I  welcomed our first child, Pierson Flynt, on February 1st 2025. At home, we have a dog named Piper and a cat named Mushu. I love sports, being with family and friends, hunting, and crafting.
