Wink High School - One Act Play
Welcome to the Wildcat One-Act!
The Wink High School UIL One-Act Play is directed by Ms. Floyd. Actors and crew are chosen through auditions, and all high school students are invited to participate. Wildcat One-Act is a family - we have a LOT of fun and we do a LOT of hard work. (More pictures coming soon!)
Things to know - OAP is a year-long activity!
- Optional pre-play "acting hours" and read-throughs begin in September.
- Auditions are held in late October.
- Rehearsals are held every Monday and Thursday night from 6:30 - 9:30 - November thru the end of competition. (Aside from the Christmas break).
- (Occasionally there are additional/special rehearsals on weekends and other nights, due to the limitations of our rehearsal space during the building project.)
- We attend, at minimum, 3 off-site clinic festivals during February.
- District Competition is on March 2 & 3, 2020.
- Bi-District Competition is usually the last week of March.
Area and Regional Competitions are in the first 2 weeks of April - State Competition is the first weekend in May.
