Dana Fernandes

I am the special education teacher for Wink Elementary. This will be my 12th year working for WLISD and my second year in special education. I have also taught 3rd grade math, 1st grade, and 6th grade math. I truly enjoy working with each kid and watching their successes.

My husband, Clay, is a Wink High School graduate and we are proud to raise our kids in this community. We have 3 children (Delaney, Layton, and Kolee Jane). If I am not at school I am probably at a event supporting my kiddos and the Wildcats/ Lady Cats. This is a wonderful community full of support for all activities and sports these kids participate in at WLISD.

I love being a Wink Wildcat and cant wait to see what 2024-2025 school year will bring.
