High School Science

My Story

I graduated from Kermit High School in 1996, and then went to Eastern New Mexico University on a split Athletic/Academic Scholarship.  I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Physical Education. I started all four years as a Zia playing for the volleyball team.  I met my husband, Erick Hernandez, in college.  My husband and I have four children:  Analia, Erick, Isabella, and Eva.

 

My Goal

My goal this year is to enrich the minds of our future in science and in life.  I plan to develop student's academic achievement through hard work and understanding.  I hope to develop relationships with my students that will last a lifetime.
