As the Athletic Director of Wink Loving ISD, I am extremely proud of our tradition of athletic excellence at Wink High School. 

The everlasting traditions and expectations in Wink are not just about wins.  Our traditions and expectations are about doing so with class, honor, and relentless pride.  Such a tradition of excellence demands the very the best efforts of all who are involved. 

Our coaches strive to allow as many students as possible to participate and share the experience and benefits derived from team membership, and promote our athletes to compete in as many sports and opportunities as possible. As a staff, we will always emphasize the importance of developing basic skills required to be successful in their athletic endeavors, but more importantly the appropriate attitudes, values, team concepts, and work ethic required to produce success.  We strive to make the athletic and academic journey of every Wildcat to be a memorable one, and one that helps build a foundation of success for their life beyond high school

We believe that athletics is an integral part of a student's academic and social development and that the athletic experience can positively contribute to the overall success Wink High School. Through athletics, a student can learn how to handle adversity, work together as a team to accomplish a common goal, and develop important leadership skills.  

At Wink High School, we are extremely proud and respectful of the success and tradition of our past; yet are extremely excited to produce our own legacy and build on the previously established foundation of excellence.
