The Education Department at Sul Ross State University has selected Ms. Emily White as the 2017 Student Teacher of the Year. Emily graduated last fall from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
This year Emily served as a Student Teacher at Wink Elementary School. Emily is a 2012 graduate of Wink High School. Emily is the daughter of Brad and Judy White of Wink, Texas. Emily is scheduled to receive the Student Teacher of the Year recognition at the April 17th, 2017 during the Honors Ceremony at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Marshall Auditorium.
