SILVER MEDALIST - GEORGE ANAYA - WILL COMPETE AT THE STATE CROSS COUNTRY MEET IN ROUND ROCK
On Monday, October 26th, the Ladycats and individual qualifier George Anaya, competed in the Region II Class 1A Cross Country Meet at Sherrod Park in Abilene. George ran a very good race, finishing the 3-mile course in a time of 18 minutes and 11 seconds. He was 16 seconds behind the winner, Eli Williams of May Texas. George will now compete at the State Meet in Round Rock on Saturday, November 7th.
The Ladycats also competed on Monday. They finished eighteenth out of twenty-three teams. Delanie Rackler was the first Ladycat to cross the finish line with a time of 15:24. All in all the girls times were the best they have been for the season.
